Google Calendar can finally embrace bigger screens thanks to its latest update

Google Calendar on the web is getting a new Appearance setting for information density.

Users can choose Responsive, Comfortable, or Compact to better fit different monitor sizes and make event cards easier to read.

The rollout starts now for Rapid Release users, with Scheduled Release users getting it from August 15, 2026 through the end of that month.

The update is aimed at improving usability on large screens, alongside recent Calendar additions like more event color options and custom RGB colors.
