Delta Air Lines to Deploy Amazon Leo Satellite Internet on 500 Planes in 2028

Delta Air Lines and Amazon announced Delta will equip 500 aircraft with Amazon Leo starting in 2028.

The service uses low-Earth-orbit satellites and custom phased-array antennas supporting up to 1 Gbps download and 400 Mbps upload.

Delta SkyMiles members will receive in-flight Wi-Fi via Amazon Leo for free and Delta's AWS-based infrastructure supports the rollout.
