"AI, connected through light"... Electronic Times to host 'Silicon Photonics·CPO' Tech Day on the 25th

The Electronic Times will host a tech day on the 25th at Posco Tower in Seoul under the theme, “AI, Connected by Light.”

The event spotlights silicon photonics and CPO-based optical interconnect technologies for AI data centers.

Companies including Corning, Oisolution, Merck, Resonac, and others will present on materials, components, bonding, inspection, and packaging.

It highlights the shift from copper-based links to light-based connectivity, aiming to address power, heat, and speed limits in AI infrastructure.
