Infamous Kowloon Walled City PlayStation Game Gets Fan Translation 29 Years Later

Hilltop Works has announced an English fan translation for Kowloon’s Gate, a Japan-only PlayStation RPG.

The four-disc cult title, inspired by Hong Kong’s Kowloon Walled City, will get wider access for the first time outside Japan.

The patch is scheduled to release on June 9, nearly 29 years after the game first launched.

The release underscores the ongoing preservation of obscure Japanese games through fan localization.
