Nvidia is willing to back $250 billion so OpenAI can have its own data center, according to WSJ

According to WSJ, Nvidia is discussing guarantees of up to $250 billion to help OpenAI lease a large data center campus in Ohio.

The financing plan could also include separate support tied to chip purchases, alongside possible debt backing for the project.

The campus, driven by SB Energy, could become one of the largest AI infrastructure builds announced.

If completed, the deal would ease a major AI bottleneck: power and financing for massive data centers, while strengthening demand for Nvidia chips.
