Faster than Samsung... Motorola kicks off Android 17 beta

Motorola has kicked off an Android 17 beta program for select foldable, premium, and midrange phones.

The early rollout makes Motorola one of the first non-Google manufacturers to test Android 17.

Eligible devices include the Razr Plus 2025 and 2024, Razr 70 Ultra, Edge 60 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra, and some Moto G models.

A full Hello UI release is expected in the second half of 2026, and the move could pressure rivals like Samsung to speed up their plans.
