Money Forward says user compensation is "under consideration"; no compromise of production database

Money Forward said its investigation found no breach of production databases or customer data after a GitHub-related information leak.

The company had temporarily suspended some features, including bank account linking, while checking whether any information may have been exposed.

It is invalidating and reissuing possibly leaked credentials, refreshing credentials companywide, and strengthening monitoring.

Money Forward is still considering compensation as it works toward a phased restart of the affected services.
