Sony’s first RGB TV is a statement piece

Sony launched the Bravia 7 II, one of the first RGB LED TVs, with separate red, green, and blue backlighting for higher brightness and wider color.

The set reaches about 2,200 nits, supports Dolby Vision, Google TV, and gaming features like 4K/120Hz and VRR.

Real-world testing found mostly accurate color and only limited visible color crosstalk, even on HDR and movie scenes.

The main drawbacks are its premium price and just two HDMI 2.1 ports, which could limit some buyers.
