Apple gives rare bonuses to iPhone designers to deter departures

Apple awarded out-of-cycle bonuses to iPhone hardware designers, bloomberg reported the bonuses were granted this week.

Bonus value are worth roughly $200,000 to $400,000 over the full vesting period, bloomberg reported the estimate of the full vesting value.

Bonus form are issued as stock units that vest over four years employees must remain at Apple for four years to receive the full amount.
