YouTube finally gives us a way to turn off Shorts, sort of

YouTube is rolling out a Shorts time-limit setting that can be set to zero minutes.

Once the limit is reached, the Shorts tab is hidden and opening Shorts in the app becomes more cumbersome.

It does not fully remove Shorts, since they can still appear in subscriptions and via shared links.

The update gives users and parents a practical way to reduce Shorts exposure and endless scrolling.
