WeChat HarmonyOS App Invites Users to Test Version 8.0.21.33 Update - IT Home

WeChat for HarmonyOS has opened invitations to test version 8.0.21.33 on Huawei AppGallery.

The test runs from August 28 to September 28, 2026, and invited users can install it through a link after receiving an SMS notification.

This release and earlier tests include chat Do Not Disturb folding, Channels privacy and livestream commerce features, camera focal-length controls, emoji search, and storage management.

With about 74.38 million installs, the app continues to expand its features and user base within the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
