PwC has allegedly published AI-generated reports containing false or fabricated sources

GPTZero says four PwC Middle East reports from 2024-2026 contained fabricated sources and false claims.

One report was judged highly likely to be entirely AI-generated, raising questions about the quality of the work.

The reports also promoted PwC’s Citizen Pulse with claims that governments in several countries use it, but no evidence was provided.

PwC said it is reviewing some citations, but did not explain how the errors happened.
