US government apps collect GPS, fingerprint and face data and include Huawei SDK

An OSINT researcher found that multiple US government apps request extensive device permissions, including precise GPS and biometric access.

The White House app was reported to include a Huawei Mobile Services tracker despite Huawei being designated a security threat.

CBP's Mobile Passport Control and other apps request numerous permissions and reportedly retain face images for up to 75 years.
