At Cloud Next 2026, Google rebranded Gemini Enterprise as its umbrella enterprise AI brand and evolved Vertex AI into the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

The new platform adds Agent Studio, simulation, governance, a marketplace, and MCP-based integrations across Google Cloud and Workspace.

Google is turning a set of scattered enterprise AI tools into a more unified platform for building and managing autonomous agents at scale.
