Dungeons & Dragons game from Star Wars Jedi director has been cancelled by Hasbro

Hasbro has canceled Giant Skull’s planned Dungeons & Dragons game less than a year after it was announced.

The studio, led by Stig Asmussen, had been developing an early concept with Wizards of the Coast.

Both sides say the project will not move forward, but Giant Skull is still pursuing other opportunities.

The cancellation highlights how quickly major publisher-backed game plans can change, even for big franchises.
