NTT Docomo to Form Financial Holding Company

NTT Docomo is creating a new financial holding company, NTT Docomo Financial Group, which will begin operations on July 1.

Docomo will transfer its financial services such as d Card and d Payment and related subsidiary shares to the new holding company via an absorption-type split.

The new company will have capital of JPY 200 million funded entirely by NTT Docomo and will be headquartered at Sanno Park Tower in Tokyo.

Sumishin SBI Net Bank will change its trade name to Docomo SMTB Net Bank in August after the reorganization.
