Intel’s Razor Lake Lands Its First Display Partner as Tianma Rolls Out a 2.8K Panel That Idles at 30Hz to Save Battery

At Intel’s 2026 Client Ecosystem Symposium in Shanghai, Tianma unveiled a 14-inch 2.8K laptop panel for Intel’s next-gen Razor Lake platform.

The display supports a 30Hz to 120Hz variable refresh range and can cut power use by lowering refresh rate in static scenarios.

It also can disable touch in certain use cases to further improve battery life.

The panel uses LTPS and an in-cell touch design, signaling early ecosystem support for Intel’s upcoming laptop platform.
