Modern Warfare 4 won't have 'clowny' crossover skins, Call of Duty team says

Call of Duty says Modern Warfare 4 will avoid “clowny” crossover skins at launch and in future seasons.

The message comes in response to backlash over increasingly flashy cosmetics and a push for a more authentic tone.

The wording still leaves room for crossover content if it fits the game’s style.

Existing skins will remain in Warzone, and Modern Warfare 4 is expected in October.
