WorkBuddy Major Upgrade: The Office for the AI Era

Tencent WorkBuddy rolled out V5.3.5 on July 30, introducing a new “human-AI co-writing” feature for the agent era.

The upgrade lets users collaborate with AI directly inside Tencent Docs and local Office files, including Word, Excel, PPT, and Markdown.

Users can select specific sections for editing, with real-time sync and team co-authoring supported across documents.

The move brings AI from a standalone writing assistant into the document itself, potentially reshaping office productivity and collaboration.
