Northern Lights Forecast: 10 States May See Aurora Sunday Night

A coronal mass ejection from the Sun is expected to hit Earth, triggering G1 to G2 geomagnetic storm conditions.

That could bring a chance to see the northern lights across parts of northern U.S. states from Sunday night into Monday.

Skywatchers near the Canadian border may have the best shot at seeing aurora farther south than usual.

Viewing could still be limited by the full moon and bright summer sky conditions.
