Oxford to build next-gen robotic solutions for nuclear energy sites with AtkinsRéalis

AtkinsRéalis and the Oxford Robotics Institute announced a global partnership to advance autonomous robotics for nuclear and energy facilities.

The collaboration will use AI, simulation, and field testing to move inspection and maintenance robots into real-world operations.

The goal is to reduce human exposure to radiation while improving inspection, repair, and data collection in hazardous environments.

Partners and collaborators include the University of Oxford, Sellafield, NVIDIA, Kinova, and the Institute of Science Tokyo.
