Toyota to launch off-road-focused special-class motorized bicycle “Land Hopper” from 2027 onward

Toyota announced LAND HOPPER, a foldable three-wheeled electric personal mobility vehicle designed for off-road and last-mile travel.

The model is planned to launch in spring 2027 or later and falls under Japan’s specific small motorized vehicle category.

Toyota also unveiled the new Land Cruiser FJ series at the same time.

Together, the announcements show Toyota expanding into compact EV mobility and a smaller off-road SUV segment.
