Lexar lists 32GB DDR5 memory with homegrown Chinese chips — 3,999 Yuan ($592) price undercuts hopes for cheaper CXMT-powered RAM

Lexar launched a 32GB DDR5-7200 CL38 RGB kit in China for 3,999 yuan, using domestically produced Chinese DRAM.

The kit may use CXMT memory and includes compatibility listings for select Asus and MSI motherboards.

Its price is still on par with premium DDR5 kits in the U.S., suggesting Chinese DRAM has not yet lowered high-end RAM costs.
