MVNO Industry Says It Will Repay with Lower Mobile Bills... Welcomes Government Support Measures

The government unveiled measures to spur competition and innovation in the mobile market, and the MVNO industry welcomed them.

The Korea MVNO Association said the move toward “MVNO 2.0” and lower wholesale fees will strengthen price competitiveness.

It also said free data safety options, stronger user protection, and better self-owned phone and eSIM conditions will support growth.

The package is expected to ease consumer telecom bills and reinforce the MVNO base for stronger market competition.
