"Switch 2" to get a price hike, rising by 10,000 yen to 59,980 yen

Nintendo announced price hikes for Nintendo Switch 2 and related products in Japan starting May 25.

The domestic Switch 2 model rises from 49,980 yen to 59,980 yen, and existing Switch systems will also cost more.

Nintendo Switch Online will increase in price from July 1, and playing cards such as trump and hanafuda are also affected.

The company is also moving ahead with price revisions for Switch 2 in overseas markets.
