ZTE Teams Up with ByteDance to Develop Next-Gen Doubao AI Phone

Huawei said it has connected 170 million people in remote areas across more than 80 countries.

The company announced the milestone at its TECH Cares Forum in Barcelona and noted it surpassed a 2022 ITU P2C pledge to connect 120 million people by 2025.

Huawei highlighted RuralCow and Skills on Wheels as programs that expanded rural coverage and digital skills training.

Forum participants including ITU and MTN representatives urged multi-stakeholder cooperation to advance digital inclusion in the AI era.
