Apple could go back to Intel for chips, but not how you would expect (or dread)

Apple and Intel are reportedly in early talks on a manufacturing partnership for some Apple-designed chips.

The deal would not bring back Intel-powered Macs or replace Apple Silicon; Apple would still design its own processors.
