Street Fighter 6's Next Update Is Adding New Game Modes

Capcom is updating Street Fighter 6 on 28 May 2026 with two new avatar-focused modes: Avatar Random Match and Avatar Arcade Mode.

The update launches alongside paid DLC character Ingrid and will also arrive for the Switch 2 version and Years 1-2 Fighters Edition.

Players can use custom avatars in fights, earn rewards, level up, and strengthen bonds with masters to unlock Outfit 2.
