SenseTime Launches SenseNova U1, Moving Toward a Unified Model Era of Understanding and Generation

SenseTime launched the SenseNova U1 series, a unified multimodal AI model built on its NEO-unify architecture.

The new design combines language and visual understanding, reasoning, and generation in a single framework.

SenseTime also open-sourced lightweight U1 Lite variants, including SenseNova-U1-8B-MoT and SenseNova-U1-A3B-MoT.

The release points to a broader shift toward native unified models for advanced reasoning systems and robotics.
