Gemini ‘Omni’ video model shows up with some early demos

Google appears to be testing a new Gemini video model called Omni, with a prompt spotted in the app and early demos showing realistic text-to-video results.

Metadata suggests Omni may be an extension of Veo, and the tool could add video generation and editing directly inside Gemini chat.

Google has not announced Omni publicly yet, but the appearance points to ongoing internal testing ahead of a possible wider launch.
