Kimi K3 Officially Open-Sourced: Moonshot AI Releases 2.8 Trillion Parameter Model Weights, Technical Report, and Three Infrastructure Technologies

Moonshot AI open-sourced Kimi K3, a frontier-scale multimodal MoE model with 2.8T parameters, native vision, and a 100K context window.

The release includes a technical report and three supporting infrastructure tools: MoonEP, FlashKDA, and AgentEnv.

Moonshot says Kimi K3 is more efficient than K2.5 and competitive with leading closed models on some benchmarks.

Alibaba Cloud and Huawei have already adopted the release, while Moonshot paused new subscriptions because of compute constraints.
