Google Antigravity officially supports Android app development. 'Android Knowledge Base' and 'Android Skills' for AI agents also released

At Google I/O 2026, Google announced that Antigravity now officially supports Android app development in Kotlin.

Antigravity 2.0 includes an Android CLI, making it easier for AI agents to fetch SDKs, create projects, and run apps on devices.

Google also released Android Knowledge Base and open-source Android Skills to provide up-to-date guidance and best practices for agents.

The move gives AI coding tools an end-to-end path for Android development and could improve speed and reliability.
