Asus Zenbook A16 review: Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is a strong chip in a so-so package

The Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is Qualcomm’s top chip for bringing Windows on Arm mainstream and is very fast.

The Asus Zenbook A16 is one of the first laptops to use that processor.

Tested price was $1,599.99, while ASUS lists a $2,299 option on its site.

The laptop ships with 48GB on the package, but its Ceraluminum chassis (with added magnesium) feels cheap and shows lid/keyboard flex.

It’s lightweight at 2.87 pounds and has many ports, yet battery life trails competitors and Windows on Arm still has hiccups.
