Sabi, a Silicon Valley startup, unveiled a beanie-style brain-computer interface that uses non-invasive EEG sensors and AI to turn internal speech into text.

The company says the wearable is meant to be more comfortable and less invasive than bulky headsets or surgical implants, and may not require daily calibration.

Sabi is training its model on large-scale brain data and plans consumer beanie and cap versions by late 2026.

The prototype could make hands-free computing and neural typing more practical, while also intensifying privacy and ethics concerns around brain data.
