Bumble is getting rid of the swipe, CEO says

Bumble CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd says the app will eliminate swiping in a redesign planned for later in 2026.

The overhaul comes after several weak quarters and a 21% drop in paid users in the first quarter.

Bumble is betting on a new AI-focused matching experience, including its AI dating assistant Bee, to regain momentum.
