‘Uncharted territory’: Figure AI humanoid robots hit 24/7 nonstop work milestone

Figure AI says three humanoid robots ran autonomously for more than 24 straight hours sorting packages, extending an intended eight-hour test.

The robots used Helix-02 with no teleoperation, processed over 28,000 packages, and handled recovery and maintenance handoffs on their own.

Figure says the machines were working near human speed, a sign humanoid robots are getting closer to reliable 24/7 labor.

The milestone could accelerate commercial deployment in logistics and manufacturing, including future use in warehouse and factory settings.
