Spotify Is Adding Artist Verification Badges on Profiles

Spotify is rolling out “Verified by Spotify” badges for legitimate artist profiles, starting now with most actively searched artists.

The badges are meant to help listeners tell official artists apart from fake or AI-generated profiles.

Spotify is also testing an artist details section with release, tour, and career information.

The company says AI-generated artist profiles will not be included in the verification program.
