If your Oura smart ring detects sleep apnea, it can refer you to doctors

Oura is expanding its sleep apnea features in the U.S. with a new workflow for users who may show signs of obstructive sleep apnea.

The ring will now offer educational materials, sleep assessments, and guidance on how to talk with a doctor about the results.

Through a partnership with Resmed, Oura can also connect users to independent healthcare providers for further evaluation.

The move pushes wearables beyond detection and toward helping people access medical care for a serious sleep disorder.
