Microsoft is adding a feature that briefly maxes out your CPU to make Windows feel snappier

Microsoft is testing a Windows 11 “Low Latency Profile” that briefly boosts CPU frequency during UI actions and app launches.

The feature appears in preview builds and reportedly gives short 1-to-3-second performance bursts for core system tasks.

Early reports suggest native apps, menus, and system flyouts feel faster and more responsive.

If shipped, it could improve everyday Windows responsiveness without any action from users.
