In Arcugnano near Vicenza, Franco Malosso allegedly built a fake Roman amphitheater using modern materials and presented it as an ancient site.

He reportedly charged visitors up to 40 euros to tour the supposed archaeological attraction.

A later investigation confirmed the structure was a recent set, not a genuine Roman ruin.

The case highlights how a fabricated heritage site misled visitors and local authorities for years.
