Why Rayman Legends is getting a remake, instead of an older game

Ubisoft says Rayman Legends Retold is part of a wider plan to relaunch the Rayman franchise.

Legends was chosen over older entries because it is the series’ most complete and modern foundation.

The remake is intended to support a new audience, a refreshed art direction, and added content.

Ubisoft also says the remake gives the team room to improve structural issues and the ending.
