Andrew Warkentin launched The Virtual OS Museum, an emulation project with 1,700+ pre-installed installations across 250+ platforms and about 600 operating systems.

It includes systems from early mainframes to classic Mac OS, Apple A/UX, NeXTSTEP, Windows, Unix variants, and mobile platforms.

The project comes in full and lite editions, supports updates, and aims to preserve historic software for study and nostalgia.

Some systems are incomplete, and performance is limited on non-x86 hardware such as Apple silicon Macs.
