Uber said thousands of items were left behind in its robotaxis over the past year, from phones and wallets to dentures and novelty bags.

The company highlighted its annual Lost & Found Index as a snapshot of rider behavior across its autonomous vehicle network.

Passengers can recover items through the app, with returns handled by Uber Courier or pickup at AV depots.

Uber framed the service as part of its broader autonomous vehicle support business as robotaxi use expands in cities like Austin, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Dallas.
