Gemini for macOS now lets users generate text and images by voice

Google has added voice input to the macOS Gemini app, letting users dictate writing, edits, and summaries by speaking.

Users can also select local files, images, and documents and ask Gemini to extract or summarize them with voice commands.

With Gemini’s reasoning features enabled, people can rewrite text, change tone, and generate or edit images hands-free.

The rollout starts in English for all users, with more languages planned later.
