Review: The Mandalorian and Grogu is ... fine

Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Grogu is reviewed as a solid but unremarkable Star Wars spinoff.

The film follows Din Djarin and Grogu hunting Imperial remnants while getting pulled into a mission involving Rotta the Hutt and the Hutt Twins.

Though it has familiar charm, the review says it plays more like safe fan service than an exciting big-screen return for Star Wars.

Its release is seen as a test of whether a Disney+ era hit can help revive the franchise in theaters after a long gap.
