[TUHS] RIP Peter Salus

Peter Salus, a noted Unix historian and author, died on May 15, according to a TUHS mailing list post.

The TUHS community shared tributes and highlighted his influence on preserving early Unix history.

Salus’s book, “Quarter Century of Unix,” was described as essential reading and a standard reference on Unix’s development.
