AMD’s best CPU tech for gamers is coming to workstations too

AMD is adding 3D V-Cache to select Ryzen PRO 9000 workstation CPUs built on Zen 5.

The refreshed chips support up to 16 cores, 32 threads, 256GB ECC DDR5 memory, and PCIe 5.0.

This brings a gaming-focused AMD feature into professional workstations for better simulation, rendering, and visualization performance.

A Lenovo ThinkStation P4 launch with the new CPUs is expected in Q3 2026.
