Samsung’s stable One UI 8.5 update officially lands on older Galaxy phones

Samsung began rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update on May 6, 2026, after four months of beta testing.

The Galaxy S25 series and S25 Edge are first in line, with older flagships, foldables, and selected tablets to follow.

The update brings Samsung’s newest software and AI features to premium Galaxy devices.

Availability is staggered by region and device, so not all users will get the same features at the same time.
