Google Photos could be getting a cleaner way to blur sensitive data

Google Photos may be preparing a new Redact tool in its Markup editor.

The feature appears in recent app code, but it is not yet available to use.

Redact would help hide sensitive details more cleanly than manual scribbling on screenshots and photos.

A built-in option like this could make sharing images safer and bring Google Photos closer to rival editors.
