Intel Will No Longer Limit Overclocking To High-End SKUs, Plans To Include More Unlocked CPUs With Future Lineups

Intel says it plans to bring overclocking support to more desktop CPU SKUs in future lineups.

Instead of limiting unlocked chips to premium K-series models, the company wants to extend them to budget and mainstream processors.

That could make enthusiast features available to a much wider range of PC buyers.

The change may shape Intel’s next desktop roadmap, including future Core Ultra 200S Plus and Arrow Lake parts.
